Adult Support Workers

Our Neighbourhood Living Society is a non-profit organization committed to supporting persons, who have an disability, in community living. The society is seeking individuals for casual, part time, and the possibility of full time positions who have above average interpersonal, organization, and communication skills. Candidates will be familiar with individual program planning, be able to work effectively as team members, have an understanding of basic computer use, have food handler’s course, and possess current CPR and First Aid. Applicants will have experience working with adults who have disabilities. Persons with personal care experience are welcomed to apply. We are also looking for physically active individuals who enjoy many recreational activities. Shift flexibility is required. ONLS offers a competitive pay rate.
Youth Support Workers

The society is seeking individuals for casual, part time, and the possibility of full time positions who have above average interpersonal, organization, and communication skills. Candidates will be familiar with individual program planning, be able to work effectively as team members, have an understanding of basic computer use, have food handler’s course, and possess current CPR and First Aid. Applicants must posses the seven core standards. ONLS prefers a youth workers diploma or degree program related to the human services field. Applicants will have experience working with children, and adolescents who have disabilities. Looking for physically active individuals who enjoy many recreational activities. Shift flexibility is required. ONLS offers a competitive pay rate.
